(Greek: talasso = sea) with its natural elements
of water, air, alluvium, algae and salt characterizes
this form of therapy.
In the crater bed of Pedra
de Lume we offer baths, massage, water gymnastics
and inhalation under supervision of qualified
staff. (fee charged) A medical clearance certificate
is required especially for older guests.
Thalassotherapy can be recommended particularly
for rheumatism and skin ailments, as well as arthritis
and sickness of the airways..
Daily transfer from the hotel to the volcanic
crater is provided by the hotel (fee charged)
